Apology for slavery?
Posted: August 1, 2008, 2:31 pm by Frank
The U.S House of Representatives this past Tuesday apologized to African-Americans for slavery. The resolution was authored by Steve Cohen a white Democrat from Tennessee.
What do you think, is it too little too late? Why has this come up this year, does Obama's candidacy have anything to do with it? Should blacks demand reparations? What are your thoughts? -
The N Word
Posted: August 1, 2008, 1:21 pm by Frank
This makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. Just this week I had a painful, profound experience concerning the n-word.
Is this what we come to? What's wrong with us, why would people with so much influence on their tongue use the N-Word when so many young people are influenced by them?
I will be writing more on this issue later.
