  • Birds of Baringo

Today's post is nothing but birds seen in Baringo, a bird watcher's paradise! My next investment is a Birds of East Africa book. Checked at NuMetro, all they had was Birds of Southern Africa. I'll try TBC and Bookpoint next.

The tour guide we had on the boat trip across Lake Baringo is a walking encyclopaedia of birds. I'm not surprised though, given that his job entails telling folk about the local wildlife. Here are some of the birds we saw at the place. Enjoy!

  • Back to No Panic

First we agreed not to panic. Then we saw that there was still no panic. But some panicked, and some clarification had to be put in place. Well, hopefully that cleared things, and we are back to the no panic state. Only difference is, base of operations has changed. Hang onto your towel. Don't lose the guide. Belt up for another 31,536,000 seconds of adventure!
  • Fish Eagle on Lake Baringo

This is just a shameless copying of this post. I love that blog as it has some super pictures of Malawi. That particular post reminds me of the last Bunduz trip I took, which was to Baringo. Pictures from that will be shared shortly.

For now I just have a few I took of a fish eagle in action on Lake Baringo. I hope to capture it even better next time round.

    Enjoy!
